"The Hanged Man"

Seeing the hanged man represents change, but usually an alteration in mental attitude rather than physical circumstances.  There are two main meanings:  The reader may be in some type of limbo-- you may have to bide your time while one chapter of your life comes to an end before another one begins afresh.  Regardless, you should be patient despite your anxieties, because this time will best be utilized for careful reflection.  There are valuable lessons to be learned.

The second meaning is to look at life from a different perspective, this often involves viewing from a more spiritual angle and placing less value on things material.  Follow your heart under all circumstances.

Dreams of the hanged man may link to impending change (disguised as death-- the end of something).  Personal sacrifice; the death of one part of self so that further growth and change can occur; surrender.  The pains and struggles when realizing this truth.

Symbolized also by crucifixion (a sense of self-sacrifice in the maturing process)...  You are surrendering and sacrificing your physical and ego needs for what you sense is a more spiritual and essential you.

"Everything is a self-portrait. A diary. Your whole drug history's in a strand of your hair. Your fingernails. The forensic details. The lining of your stomach is a document. The calluses on your hand tell all your secrets. Your teeth give you away. Your accent. The wrinkles around your mouth and eyes. Everything you do shows your hand."

Primeval heart.

To see images of forest indicates your natural unconscious desires and instincts.  The Self you are underneath what we may express through our needs for social and physical survival.  The magickal world of the subconscious, full as it is of strange forces, primeval creatures, and miraculous beings.  If you are exploring the forest, it shows you becoming aware of the level of yourself that hidden by the civilized activities of daily life.  You will become more aware of meeting your internal animals.  This is the country of dreams; in the forest, you are in touch with all the wisdom of the earth.  Your past, present, and future are all here, becoming something miraculous beyond your wildest dreams.

Meeting wild animals suggests you are encountering aspects of your Self and personality that you have not yet learned to direct or utilize.  These may include urges and spontaneous feelings that deviate greatly from the self you have previously known.  They are an expression of instincts you have not integrated within your life, but will be of immeasurable potential.

Raccoon-- You are being asked to let go of a situation, person, belief, or habit.  It could also mean that you should accept the gifts being offered to you right now by the universe.  Take time to look at the whole picture of your life (both the seen and the unseen).  Leave no stone unturned in your quest for resolution.  Do not keep secrets from yourself.

Fox-- Your intuitive spirit will find your way around any obstacles.  You are to utilize your quick wit and adaptability.  You will be responsive and cunning, and blend in well with your situations and surroundings.  The solution to a problem is at hand.  You are being guided to solitude and silence until a way out is shown.

Raven-- Synchronicity is pending.  Big changes are coming into your life right now.  Expect positive outcomes.

Compelled my imagination many days,
Many days and many hours:
her hair over her arms and her arms full of flowers."

Moon of the Mountain (Full Harvest Moon September 16th 2016)

I have been writing love letters as of late, to yesterday's moons.

Full Harvest Moon in Aries on September 16 brings to the surface a surge of emotional energy with the intent of making one face their most difficult truths.  We are understandably very sensitive during this time.  Anything that may arise from the depths of us is to be dealt with and eradicated in the most peaceable way possible.

Be brave, be strong, be resilient, my little warrior.  You will see it through, and be all the wiser for it, in the end.

claircognizance

It was like all of the sudden, out of nowhere, I had some insight into what had happened between them.  A lightening bolt of claircognizance.  It made my heart ache when I realized how hard he had tried.   I can imagine feeling like you know somebody...  And then they change slowly over a period of time, but also, right in front of your eyes...  and before you have even realized what was happening, it is a stranger that has taken the place of the one you so loved.

"I love you so much, it makes me sick."

Dreaming of illness (mental or physical) may indicate that you have painful feelings of anger and/or resentment which are held deep within and need to be attended to.  These feelings may have been touched upon (but not fully experienced) at an earlier time in your life, and now need to be healed and released.  At the very least, they require understanding.

Oftentimes this dream is about fear or inner turmoil, but may also suggest an impending ailment.

I like people, but sometimes I wonder how sociable I am.
I can easily be alone and it doesn’t bother me.
I don’t mind it-- it’s like a rest, it kind of refreshes myself.
I think there are two things about human beings
(at least, I think there are about me)--
they want to be alone and they also want to be together

(secret thread)

"You may have noticed that the books you really love are bound together by a secret thread. You know very well what is the common quality that makes you love them, though you cannot put it into words: but most of your friends do not see it at all, and often wonder why, liking this, you should also like that. Again, you have stood before some landscape, which seems to embody what you have been looking for all your life; and then turned to the friend at your side who appears to be seeing what you saw - but at the first words a gulf yawns between you, and you realise that this landscape means something totally different to him, that he is pursuing an alien vision and cares nothing for the ineffable suggestion by which you are transported. Even in your hobbies, has there not always been some secret attraction which the others are curiously ignorant of - something, not to be identified with, but always on the verge of breaking through, the smell of cut wood in the workshop or the clapclap of water against the boat’s side? Are not all lifelong friendships born at the moment when at last you meet another human being who has some inkling (but faint and uncertain even in the best) of that something which you were born desiring, and which, beneath the flux of other desires and in all the momentary silences between the louder passions, night and day, year by year, from childhood to old age, you are looking for, watching for, listening for? You have never had it. All the things that have ever deeply possessed your soul have been but hints of it - tantalising glimpses, promises never quite fulfilled, echoes that died away just as they caught your ear. But if it should really become manifest - if there ever came an echo that did not die away but swelled into the sound itself you would know it. Beyond all possibility of doubt you would say “Here at last is the thing I was made for.” We cannot tell each other about it. It is the secret signature of each soul, the incommunicable and unappeasable want, the thing we desired before we met our wives or made our friends or chose our work, and which we shall still desire on our deathbeds, when the mind no longer knows wife or friend or work. While we are, this is. If we lose this, we lose all."

--C.S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain

"Be careful darling//Show yourself to me"

Dreams of arachnid guardians symbolize feminine power, or the power of the mother energy.  A spider in particular is an entity that has the potential to create life as well as the power to destroy it; something beautiful but deadly.  The mother is faithfully and fearlessly protective of her child, regardless of the circumstance.  Also suggests an acknowledgement of the source of ones being, all the while expressing a desire to be independent.

Long legs represent the strength or wisdom that one draws from deep reserves within self (or from beneath the earth you stand); inner wisdom.

Angular shapes or symbols (such as in the body of an spider, or the design of a spun web), point to the spiritual or magickal aspect of Self, surroundings, or circumstances.  These include the triangle, star, or polygon of most dimensions... See also magick symbolism and the occult.

If ones home is a castle, that may suggest important, albeit mysterious changes currently occurring within the subconscious...  There is still a sleeping beauty to discover.

Full Sturgeon Moon August 18th

Full Sturgeon Moon in water-bearing Aquarius on August 18th is a near-lunar eclipse yielding the brightness needed to continue the journey through the depths of our being.

This moon will calm troubled waters as we break destructive habits inhibitive to the growth and expansion we so desperately need...  Not just for ourselves as individuals, but for the greater good.

To begin, think of the ones whom you love most... The ones who have loved you all along.  Those who have been there for you regardless.  Try to make life easier for them.  Focus on bringing light to them through your actions and your intentions will follow suit.

Remember to be soft, not stern.
